A Night Out JUNE 29th, 2021 The romantic city of Buenos Aires couldn't have been complete without a stroll through the Teatro Colon Opera House. A guilded tour was needed to enter, and wasn't cheap, but the beauty of the place was well worth the price of admission. I didn't have time to catch a performance, but I imagined it would have been a spectacular way to enjoy an evening. Before the pandemic, we often took advantage of such simple pleasures. We spend so much time fighting for our place in this world and forget that every now and then we should slow our lives down and enjoy what the day brings. A simple night out can accomplish so much and doesn't need to be expensive by any means. Next time you start to feel overwhelmed, reach back inside yourself for a moment and view life through a different lens. Go to a museum and wander around until you get lost, watch a movie at a theater while not trying to guess the ending and allow yourself to feel the passion and emotion of a friend or loved one that has created something of their own. It doesn't take much to break down the walls, all it takes is the will to find beauty in simplicity for just a moment.
