Solitude

June 2nd, 2021

As the sun came down upon the day I found myself alone in thought. The ruins were void of people allowing me to explore the grounds as I pleased, and for a moment it felt good to be away. The wind at my back was a nice reprieve from the hot day, and little by little I became engulfed in solitude.

It's great to be whole in a world full of color, but every now and then it feels good to step into the abyss and sink my mind into a place where others can't follow. It may be a scary place to be in for long periods of time, as many have experienced throughout this recent pandemic, but mastering this art can impact how well you thrive when this same world deems you invisible.

It's okay to be alone. The key is putting that time to good use.

BEHIND THE SCENES:

The original photo of Pisac. The massive ruins makes you realize how small you are compared to the rest of the world.
