Let Freedom Ring

SEPTEMBER 7th, 2021

Our first trip overseas was in June 2007, and after two weeks traveling Europe we ended up having our last day in London. We ventured over to Buckingham Palace hoping to get tickets to go inside, but found it closed for the parade. Intrigued, we stayed and watched as the airplanes roared overhead, leaving a trail of red, white and blue.

We often think of freedom as what we want to achieve but seldom remember that the price of it may be to the detriment of others. Why do we often feel that only OUR freedom matters?

We may not always be able to get along with our neighbor, but we should all strive to better understand what others go through before trying to assert our beliefs into their world. Just because you may feel better suited if society was a certain way doesn't mean it's the only way. To get respect you must also learn to give it.
