Another Door Opens SEPTEMBER 21st, 2021 Portugal is an absolutely beautiful country full of culture, cuisine and architecture; all of this while still being affordable. One city in particular was Sintra. It boasts three main castles to view, which you can get on a pass, and the views were amazing. While in Pena Palace, I came across this shot of the outside light beaming through the open doorway. When we find ourselves trapped in a dark place in our life, we tend to wallow in the despair. We try so hard to adjust our eyes to our surroundings and can easily get frustrated not being able to see clearly how to get out. Not knowing how to move on is tough for anyone, especially coupled with the fear of being alone, but when you're locked out of the norm, it's usually not long before another door opens. You just have to be willing to look for it.
