A moment in Paris that I'll never forget was the time when my wife and I sat across the street from the Eiffel Tower and enjoyed the sparkling light show. There was magic in the air as we held each other in our arms and kissed under the stars for what seemed like endless seconds.
Our love has grown so strong over the years, not because we're able to travel but because of how we make each moment last. After twenty-five years of marriage I'm often asked what our secret is, in which I say "It's not just remembering the feeligs of the first time you got together, but constantly creating new memories during your continued journey."
It's important in a relationship to continue to build and not just rely on what brought you together. While infatuation can be had at an instant, true love for another is developed over time. It constantly evolves and molds who you are so much that if left unchecked, you may find yourself drifting apart. While you can't force feed a relationship and expect it to last, you can take the time to create moments that may end up lasting a lifetime.
