Good Ole Days

February 15th, 2022

It's 2008, barely a year into my traveling, I took a day trip outside of Madrid to this town of Segovia. Seeing this medieval town up close was great in itself but then a mini parade of cars came around the corner which only added to its charm.

As we grow with society we often feel pressured into moving on from the things we grew up with. When too many things start to change we find ourselves rebelling against the very thing we most likely fought for when we were younger... freedom of expression.

It's hard to move forward when you feel left behind but that doesn't mean it's impossible. Others will undoubtedly try to sway you to their ideals hoping to have a friend in their rebellion, but always make sure the fight is what YOU want and not something you're doing just to fit in. Stay true to yourself but not at the expense of others. You'll find that the middle can be extremely rewarding if you allow yourself to be open to the idea that there's never just one way.
