Just Another Day AUGUST 10th, 2021 Being in Venice is a magical blend of breathtaking views in an old charmed city. You could easily spend weeks just getting lost and enjoying a capucchino by the water, but hidden behind this magnificient place are the people that bring it together. Venice is expensive; so much so that many workers can't even afford to live there and have to resort to taking transportation from the mainland. What seems like paradise to some is viewed as just another working day for others. I've come to appreciate all of the things that help make a vacation go well along with the people that go the extra mile. Saying hello when you enter a shop and thank you when being helped can go a long way in helping those who are just trying to get through the day. It doesn't take much to make someone else smile, and in return it could actually make your trip that much better.
